Anti-wrinkle medicine (i.e. botulinum toxin or more commonly known as Botox™) is a minimally invasive treatment designed to soften existing lines and help prevent deeper wrinkles from forming over time. By injecting and gently relaxing targeted muscles, it reduces repeated skin folding allowing the skin to relax over the injected area and appearing smoother, fresher, and more rested.

Is it the same as filler or dermal filler?
No—anti-wrinkle medicine and dermal filler are not the same, and they work in different ways. Anti-wrinkle medicine relaxes the muscles that create expression lines. By reducing these repeated movements, the skin isn’t constantly being folded or “crinkled” at the same place which allows lines to soften and appear smoother over time. Dermal fillers or filler, on the other hand, add volume and structure to areas such as the lips,cheeks, or jawline. While both are Injectable treatments, they are used for different purposes and are often combined to achieve balanced, natural-looking results.
